Mooney In On Loan

Attemps to improve our goals for column sees 24 year old Reading front man David Mooney offered an emergency loan with us until April 4th. The 6′1″ striker could be seen as temporary cover for Chris Killen who is injured. Mooney has scored 9 goals from 9 reserve games, including a hat-trick this week against Palace reserves. He has excellent goalscoring pedigree within the Irish league and joined Reading from Cork in 2008. I’m sure we all wish David a warm welcome to what is turning into a bitter battle against the drop.
