Killen In On Loan

Chris Killen has signed from Celtic on loan until the end of the season. The 27 year old New Zealander signed for the Hoops in May 2007 from Hibs but has found opportunities to play limited to three starts and 24 subs appearances, scoring a solitary goal. He seems to have had some bad luck with injuries, an achillies injury in July 2007 and is just returning from a broken kneecap.
His previous clubs are Oldham, Wrexham and Manchester City. The 6 foot hitman has made 26 appearances for the All Whites, scoring 15 goals and was prolific for Hibs where he scored 19 goals in 31 appearances so we certainly hope he strikes that kind of form while down here. I’m sure everyone will be pleased to see that we’ve managed to aquire a target man who looks pretty physically capable weighing in at just under 13 stone, it’s certainly something we’ve been lacking.
