Gunn Hunting Zander?

According to the News of The World today City are hoping to tie up a deal for Aberdeen’s 6′2″ centre half Alexander Diamond. However, the paper claims he is a striker so maybe it’s just something to take up space in their publication. He signed a contract extension to 2011 a year ago and is a fans favourite winning their fans player of the season last year. Being one of the Dons most experienced players it would certainly be a strange move if they let him go. Zander has captained the Scottish U21 side and is a player that came through the Aberdeen academy.
