And Then There Were Two…

By: David | April 12th, 2009

…teams battling for survival. Our boys and Barnsley. Given Forest’s excellent efforts yesterday to win against Bristol City I can see them pulling away from the danger zone, and all of the noises coming from the Forest camp seem positive. Although I realise that they are in fact behind Barnsley in the league table I just feel that they will pull away.
Meanwhile, our run in has all kinds of alarm bells ringing in my head. With Watford visiting Carrow Road tomorrow it really is a must win game. Because after that we travel down the road to portaloo road and the derby match against the scum. Maybe they’ll do us a favour, Alan Lee is bound to score against them, but will we win it, I’m not sure. Then Reading pay us a visit in front of Sky’s cameras. We’ve ground out some results in live fixtures this season, Forest and the scummers, so maybe we’ll do it again. However, Reading are stuttering at the moment and they must surely turn it around soon, what better place than our hospitable home. Finally comes Charlton away. We’ve hardly produced our best results at the Valley and aren’t exactly high on confidence nor particularly impressive at handling pressure matches, and I don’t believe we’ll get anything down in London.
So, barring tomorrows game, I think we’re looking at 46 points. Grim predictions I know because that is a relegation score. I hope I’m wrong, but I won’t hold my breath.
Come On City!!!
