Stoke 2-1 Norwich
By: Edward | December 2nd, 2007The two-win run ends in a defeat at Stoke, four points adrift again but… I am still optimistic. We are fighting. And that will need to be a consistent trait.
I feel disappointed, but the team does look in far better shape now. I can see where goals can come from and creativity. Well done to Mr Roeder on that score. Shame, however, on the end result. Positives? Still scoring. Dion proves his experience-drenched-worth again creating Huckerby’s five minute opener. Alas, it wasn’t to be. Leon Cort scored just after half-time equalising for Stoke, Pulis was sent to the stands for a denied penalty appeal and a minute from time (super duper cruel jab of agony) Richard Cresswell scores, and Norwich exhales, falling silent in disappointment.
Hopefully there will be some cheers at full time in Carrow Road on Tuesday night as we can get our revenge on Paul Sturrock’s Plymouth after they demolished us 3-0 on Holloway’s last game in charge.
On with the battle!
