And Then There Were Two…

By: David | Comments No Comments

…teams battling for survival. Our boys and Barnsley. Given Forest’s excellent efforts yesterday to win against Bristol City I can see them pulling away from the danger zone, and all of the noises coming from the Forest camp seem positive. Although I realise that they are in fact behind Barnsley in the league table [...]

Mixed Results

By: David | Comments No Comments

City’s position weakened tonight as Watford halted Swansea’s 16 game unbeaten run to climb out of the relegation zone at Norwich’s expense. Plymouth lost 3-1 at home to Palace and lie three points above us having played the same number of games.

Takeover Talk

By: David | Comments No Comments

There seem to be several different sources claiming that a takeover has occurred at Norwich City. Certainly Delia and Michael have been extremely quiet over the past few weeks.
Peter Foulger has denied being in talks over takeover, but is trying to raise funds for Gunny’s transfer pot.
More news, or speculation, as it breaks. Or doesn’t.

New Management Team Is Yellow and Green

By: David | Comments No Comments

Some of Norwich City’s most distinguished modern servants have stepped out of the Hall of Fame to steer the club away from relegation and restore the pride and feel good factor around Carrow Road and Colney.

3 Games, 3 BIG Performances Required

By: David | Comments 2 Comments

Barnsley and Saints at home, Doncaster away. These next three games are of extreme importance for our survival this season. Especially with Southampton and Doncaster sitting in the relegation zone, we’re in direct competition to avoid the drop into the 3rd teir of English football.

A win, a draw and a cup exit

By: Edward | Comments No Comments

Sorry for not updating this page in a while. Many things have happened and I will summarise them as follows.
Three players have left the club…Strihavka, Brown and Brellier are gone. Brown was sold to Preston, the other two had their contracts terminated with immediate effect. Pattison (permanent), Camara, and Evans were resigned [...]

Another draw, and another poor cup result

By: Edward | Comments No Comments

Norwich, Norwich, Norwich. Why can we never drive a stake into the heart of lower league teams, especially when they come to Carrow Road on a cup visit? It just seems a superstition must lurk in the changing rooms, or on the training ground. Thats more likey. Managment doesn’t seem to [...]

Two draws against Wolves and Palace

By: Edward | Comments 2 Comments

Well, a few months ago in the darkest, gloomiest days of Norwich football, with depressing shadows lent kindly by a certain Mr Grant, we would have shrieked and sobbed our optimism away from fixtures such as these. Yes, to a degree, draws aren’t much good to us but it is far better for confidence [...]

Norwich 1-1 Charlton

By: Edward | Comments No Comments

Norwich started the game very brightly, a hatful of missed chances…then, as is typical with that type of opening, the other team scores a goal from very little pressure. Norwich 0-1 Charlton thanks to their multi-million pound signing Zheng Zhi.
Having said that, Charlton’s Sodje made a string of important moves and blocks in defence [...]

Scunthorpe 0-1 Norwich

By: Edward | Comments No Comments

More points, three at that…and away! And the table shows we are now up to 18th! The game wasn’t pretty, like our previous fixture admitted Roeder, but then he rightly said he didn’t expect it to be. These games aren’t and never will be BUT they have to be won. And [...]
